The new CLA not only secures the already progressive working conditions for all employees at Sunrise, but also enables the further development of working conditions at Sunrise and comprehensively guarantees that the employees have a say in the company.
Validity of the CLA
1.1.2023 –
As an ICT trade union, we have been in dialogue with Sunrise for years as part of our social partnership. This culminated in the progressive collective labor agreements in place since 2012 at Sunrise and since 2017 at UPC. Now that the two companies have merged, it has also been possible to negotiate a new, common collective labor agreement in 2021.
Introducing the Sunrise collective labor agreement
- Annual working time with more flexibility and autonomy based on a target of 40 working hours per week (law: 45 hours)
- Work from anywhere using FlexWork
- Public holidays: all federal and cantonal public holidays are paid if they fall on a working day
- 5 to 6 weeks of holiday (law: 4 weeks)
- 18 weeks of maternity leave with 100% pay (law: 14 weeks, 80% pay)
- 25 days of paternity leave with 100% pay (law: 2 weeks, 80% pay)
- Minimum wage: CHF 57,000
- Promoting and supporting further training
- Higher allowances for on-call service, night work and weekend work
