In addition to your personal data such as name, address, contact details (telephone number and email address), syndicom also needs the following information from you:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table is-style-stripes coblocks-animate\" data-coblocks-animation=\"zoomIn\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><thead><tr><th>Data<\/th><th>Purpose<\/th><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>Salary range<\/strong><\/td><td>to determine the membership fee<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Employer, place of work, department<\/strong><\/td><td>to determine the competence of the regional secretaries or the sector, <a href=\"https:\/\/syndicom.ch\/en\/collective-labor-agreements-cla\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-primary-color\">CLA<\/mark><\/a> and section at syndicom<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Level of employment<\/strong><\/td><td>to determine the contribution to the execution costs and its restitution<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Profession<\/strong><\/td><td>independent, in particular to determine the competence in the media sector<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong><strong>In training<\/strong><\/strong><\/td><td>to determine the membership fee and benefits according to the regulations<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Nationality<\/strong><\/td><td>for the migration interest group (IG), the enforcement of equal pay and treatment as well as for statistical purposes<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Personnel number<\/strong><\/td><td>for the automatic deduction of the membership fee from your wages (only Post and Swisscom)<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Date of birth <\/strong><\/td><td>for a clear identification, e.g. persons with the same name, to conclude a Coop legal protection insurance (legal age)<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Sex<\/strong><\/td><td>for the salutation and the implementation of equal pay and treatment as well as for statistical purposes, e.g. composition of the membership<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Account number<\/strong><\/td><td>for the reimbursement of the contribution to the execution costs and costs in accordance with our legal protection regulations.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This list is not exhaustive because syndicom has to record additional data for the administration of the membres, such as <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the date of your entry and withdrawal<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>services and benefits used<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>trade union trainings and professional development you attended to<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the number of legal cases with any blocking periods<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>outstanding contributions and admonitions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>your activities for syndicom<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the reception of mailings (e.g. magazine, newsletter).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These data are purely administrative, but they are also used for internal statistics and the analysis of political actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to further develop and coordinate the union&#8217;s goals, we also enter into partnerships with other unions, in particular with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sgb.ch\/aktuell\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Swiss Federation of Trade Unions (SGB)<\/a> as an umbrella organization. Data is also exchanged and processed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"which-principles\"><strong>Which principles does syndicom have to apply when processing data?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"is-style-check\">syndicom may only process your data for the purposes necessary for trade union activities. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"is-style-check\">Processing must be carried out in good faith and be proportionate. Meaning that <strong>no data are processed that are not necessary for syndicom&#8217;s activities<\/strong>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"is-style-check\">The data are only stored for as long as necessary for the specific purpose. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"is-style-check\">We must ensure that the personal data are correct and that they can be corrected, deleted or destroyed at any time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"third-parties\"><strong>Will your data be disclosed to third parties?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>syndicom ensures that your data are used only for trade union activities and are basically not passed on to third parties. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>syndicom cooperates with third parties to send our magazine, for surveys and for the range of services offered on our website. These parties only receive the data necessary for the corresponding purpose. syndicom ensures that the commissioned third parties also abide by the required data protection regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you visit the syndicom website, data are collected by third parties for statistical purposes.
